Tourism Minister launches “Lebanon Snow Festival” in cooperation with Middle East Airlines

NNA - Caretaker Minister of Tourism, Walid Nassar, on Thursday launched the “Lebanon Snow Festival” in cooperation with Lebanon's national carrier Middle East Airlines (MEA), as part of the ministry's winter tourism campaign 'عيدا عالشتوية - Come back again in winter”.

Nassar called in a statement on Lebanese expatriates and foreign tourists to visit Lebanon and enjoy the snow and ski season at reduced air travel ticket prices, as set by MEA in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism, as of Friday, February 3, 2023 until March 31, 2023.

Nassar further noted that all the countries across the world could benefit from these discounted prices.

“At this time, we need to cooperate and create solidarity among all tourism institutions, unions, relevant ministries, and security agencies to achieve the required success in attracting the largest possible number of tourists,' Nassar added.

“We will follow up on the progress of the winter tourism season on a daily basis in cooperation with the coordinating committees for each region and ski center, along with tourism unions,” Nassar explained.

The Minister then thanked Middle East Airlines and its Chairman, Mr. Mohammad Al-Hout, for their relentless cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism, and their contribution to boosting the tourism sector in Lebanon.
