NNA - French Minister of Agriculture, Didier Guillaume, received at the ministry's headquarters in Paris, Minister of Agriculture Hassan Lakis, accompanied by Lebanese Ambassador to France Rami Adwan, and a delegation.

During the meeting, Minister Lakis thanked France for its 'permanent support to Lebanon in various fields, especially in the agricultural field.' The two sides agreed to sign an agricultural cooperation agreement between Lebanon and France.
Minister Lakis also tackled with his French counterpart 'France's support to increase agricultural and animal exports to EU countries.'

The French minister, in turn, praised 'the efforts of the Lebanese Ministry of Agriculture in the field of marketing of Lebanese 'Mooneh' products and Lebanese cuisine across European countries.'
