Arab ambassadors to Lebanon visit Palestinian Embassy in solidarity with Palestinian cause

The Palestinian Embassy in Lebanon announced that 'Arab Ambassadors to Lebanon, led by the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Ambassador of Kuwait, Abdul-Al Al-Qenaie, visited today the Embassy premises where they were welcomed by Ambassador Ashraf Dabour.'

'The meeting started with a minute of silence and Al-Fatihah prayer on the souls of heroic martyrs. The Ambassadors expressed their full condemnation of the Israeli attacks against peaceful demonstrators and its planned targeting that goes against all international and humanitarian norms and laws,' the statement read.

'Diplomats reiterated their rejection of all Israeli practices aimed at aborting the Palestinian national project, and attempts to change the Arab character of Palestine through the recent move to transfer the US embassy to occupied Jerusalem so as to recognize it as the capital of Israel and to try to Judaize the Christian and Islamic holy sites,' the embassy said in its statement.

'Ambassadors denounced the flagrant violation of the rights of Palestinian people (...) and expressed their full solidarity with the Palestinian cause and renewed their support for the legitimate rights of Palestinians to self-determination and to establishing an independent State with Al-Quds as its capital and with refugees returning to their homes,' it added.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassadors of Jordan, Egypt, UAE, Iraq, Tunisia, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Morocco and Yemen.
